Dr. Arvinder Singh of the Arth Group set a world record by riding a quad bike across the rugged and difficult Khardung La pass in close proximity to Leh, Ladakh. The fact that Dr. Arvinder Singh accomplished this feat while having an 80 percent disability made it all the more remarkable. As the first person ever to complete this endeavor, Dr. Arvinder Singh’s name was registered in the World Book of Records, London.
The Honorable Governor of Ladakh, Shri BD Mishra, acknowledged and awarded Dr. Arvinder Singh the feat of crossing the highest motorable pass at his official house, Raj Niwas, in Leh, Ladakh with the Certificate of the World Record for his historic accomplishment and congratulated him via an official tweet. Dr. Arvinder Singh has shown that obstacles are just as restrictive as we let them be with his accomplishment at Khardungla Pass.
