The city amidst Aravali range offers peace and tranquillity to the tensed souls. It offers the most beautiful feelings like being on a vacation in the hills, especially in the evening which stretches to a beautiful starry night (well that depends on weather).
And why just to the tensed souls? It provides relief to all…all those who don’t realise that they have been exhausted throughout the day and the moment they reach the beautiful scenic locations of the city, they discover a different feeling that spells “relaxation”.
Udaipur has a lot of places which offer a lovely evening view with sunset, especially Sajjangarh Fort. The air is fresh enough to make you feel relaxed after a tiring day. After the sunset, you can roll the wheels to Fatehsagar lake which not only gives you a beautiful and vast look of the lightly rippling water, but also the lake side are good enough for a dinner which is light on pocket even when you have a huge family.

Sitting on the lake promenade or the pal, you can enjoy cool breeze in your hair which gives a great feeling when you are tired of seeking comfort in an air-conditioned room or one with a cooler. The promenade is always bustling with activity with people on the stroll. Sometimes it really makes you feel that every heart finds peace at this spot only. Similar to this promenade are the Badi pal and the banks of Pichola lake. When you really need that break, these places offer you peace enough to make you feel as light as a feather.
You will never ever regret a night out in the city as this is one of those few cities which get crowded only during tourist season, else the traffic is much pleasant than the other places you might have been to. Though certain safety measures are a must everywhere, Udaipur is among those very few places where people do not fear being out after dark.

When the temple bells toll, you get a wonderful feeling. This is because the bells create an environment that soothes your senses. Lake city has an air that soothes every tensed nerve. The city is not in the list of those ‘fast life cities’…maybe that is one reason it offers that calm since being fast disturbs the environment to a great extent.
The city is still much much far away from the extraordinary ruffianism that happens in most of the metros and the cosmopolitans. This also adds to its safety hence maintaining peace.
