‘Gaurav Medatwal‘, is now a popular Udaipurite who has brought glory and big name for the Udaipur City, both Nationally as well as Internationally. Yes, he is the 1st Runners Up of the India’s Got Talent Show – 2018. His hard-work, his dedication, his positive spirit and his never to surrender attitude has made him not just live with his passion and love but to be appreciated and recognized for the same, globally

‘The Inspiration’

Gaurav always had a strong inclination towards music, so much so that he used play a keyboard during his school days. His school always supported him to grow with and into music. His journey of becoming a super star began, when after his school he went to Mumbai for his further studies. It was there where he got the maximum exposure and he started to believe that he can earn a big name in the music industry.

‘The Preparation’

During the course of his college days, he started to participate in various singing competitions and he was good enough to win almost all of them. He used to take inspiration from other singers and used to practice a lot. But soon after his graduation, he realized that it wasn’t enough and so he learnt Hindustani Classical Music under the guidance of his Guru, Mrs. Rita Kaul, who is also the mentor and guru of Bollywood singer @Arman Malik

‘The Challenges’

As he doesn’t belong to a musical family, he had to prepare himself on his own, though he got all the emotional support from his family. After his graduation he got a handsome job but he wasn’t ready to join it like his other friends. He strongly believed in his dreams and he wasn’t in any mood to give up on them. But this got him into financial depressions as it is always better to sing with a filled pocket and enough food in the stomach. Yet, he believed in himself and gave his heart and soul for it.

He was rejected from a number of auditions and studios in Mumbai, not just this but he fell a prey to the frauds of this industry, where he was fooled into recording in lieu of big money. But nothing in this world demotivated him to that extent where he could’ve given up on his dream. He always knew for what he began and for what he was sacrificing everything. He kept sticking to his ambitions.

‘The Accomplished Dream’

With his hard work, dedication and most importantly his stubborn belief that he will make his dreams come true, he made it to the finals of India’s Got Talent, where he and his team were announced to be the 1st Runners Up of the competition. The whole country and people across the world celebrated his victory. Even to this grand and outstanding success, Gaurav humbly says that it couldn’t have been possible without his team and the happiness of his well wishers and their celebrations brought him more happiness than his own.

‘The Goal’

His goal is to earn a big name in the entertainment industry as a leading playback singer and to stand up to the expectations of his family, friends and all his well wishers. The goal is to never stop but to keep on rising. From an Electronics and Communication Engineer to a Popularly recognized singer now, it takes a lot of efforts, risks and belief in oneself to be able to win the ends. His story also makes it evident that a mere educational qualification cannot decide the path or goal of one’s life.

Not just this but Gaurav was also a Sound Engineer from Sound Ideaz Academy under his mentor Mr. Pramod Chandorkar, where he assisted him as a sound engineer in many live concerts of the legendary singer of India, Sonu Nigam.

‘Message to Youngsters’

If you are blessed with some creative traits, do not waste them but pick them up professionally. Everyone always has a choice of living an ordinary life, like everyone else but only those who believe in their dreams and are ready to take a risk are the one who are able to prosper with them. Go ahead into your dreams, give them a sincere try but never forget the difference between expectations and realities.

I still got to do a lot and I still have a lot of dreams to be accomplished. We never know how life will treat us the very next day but we still could be sure about never giving up on any given tomorrows. I’ll keep working upon my dreams and that is the way everyone must live and not just exist.

‘Saurabh Jain CA‘ is one of the most outstanding and brilliant photographers of Udaipur. He is popularly known for his creative perspective and and also for his Drone Shots, so much so that, Udaipurites also know him as the Drone Man of Udaipur.

He is a Charted Accountant by qualification and runs the parental business of mining and minerals. His hobby and the opportunities that came his way, helped him to give shape to his dreams and that is when his hobby turned into a passion.

In the beginning he was accompanied by his passionate cousin and later he became friends with a group of photographers. This gave him more focus and sooner he got along with a team of photography enthusiasts with whom he formed a group and executed many projects.

He has executed many tourism projects with the support and permission of Rajasthan Tourism and other government bodies. He has been doing projects of pre-wedding, maternity, corporate, architecture, tourism, kids, social awareness etc. and he is recognized as a well known figure of Udaipur in the photography industry worldwide.

While addressing to the youth and photography enthusiasts, he says –

One must find a good company and must keep on doing what one wishes to accomplish, as consistency is the the only key that helps one to succeed. One must also take inspiration from online and offline resources and mentors.

For me, every single project of mine is important and big. Even my first project was a big one as the video was displayed in front of an audience of 1000 people and every one appreciated my work. It was a huge start for me.

‘Pukaarwala Bhuvnesh’ is the GREEN MAN of Udaipur City. His ambition and determination of making earth a better a place to live, is the reason why people of all age groups have joined hands with him.

It is not just his efforts and hard work, that he has invested all these years to make the no man lands bloom with greenery, that has brought him so much recognition, but it is also his down to earth humbleness, pleasing and welcoming persona, that has made him one of the most likable and followed personality of Udaipur City.

As young as at an age of 18 years, his curiosity and love towards environment began to flourish. In the year 2013, he bought a mango sapling and planted it with the help of his friends. It gave him immense happiness to see the sapling grow. He named the sapling – ‘Astitva”.

It inculcated a feeling of respect in him, respect towards the environment and he felt that he should sincerely contribute towards it. He made a group of youngsters and started to plant more saplings around his place and elsewhere but soon after it, he failed in motivating them to take the responsibility of the environment.

His friends and even a few people from his family started criticizing his ambitions, as like every other person in a society they also believed that Bhuvnesh was wasting his time and it will land him up nowhere.

Bhuvnesh being a stubborn and determined guy, he didn’t give up on shaping his ambition – ‘Pukaar’ and he firmly started walking, rather running along the path that he decided for himself.

People appreciated his efforts, they started to understand the importance of planting a tree for keeping the environment in good health and they realized the role that environment plays in everybody’s life. That was the day and Bhuvnesh is here, the Green Man of our beautiful city Udaipur.

Bhuvnesh was a drop out from IIT – JEE training in Kota, who was raised in a small village of Bhilwara, Rajasthan. The scarcity of water in his village made him dig into the core roots for its reasons and this was what inspired him to conserve and protect the environment. His journey began.

In all these years Bhuvnesh and his team Pukaar initiated many environment conservation programs which are thoroughly appreciated by various government bodies and NGO’s.

Some of the initiatives by Bhvnesh and his team Pukaar are –

– Paudhapohar

– Ek Gadi, Ek Ped

– Vrikshadan Movement

– Conserving 1600 out of 2000 saplings

– Developing ‘Mini Forests’ and ‘Fruit Forests’

While extending a message to the youngsters, Bhuvnesh says –

Everything is really tough in the beginning and almost every time you’d feel like you’d not be able to make it till the end. This is because we all are surrounded with a world of conventions, criticism and imposed point of views, where it becomes tough for us to make a choice for ourselves. But, if we strongly believe in our dreams and we are stubborn enough to make things work for us, nobody in this world could stop us from achieving our goals and living with our dreams. If I can do it, every one else could surely do it.

I still have a long way to go and I won’t stop until I will make this planet bloom with greenery all around. I strongly believe that surely a time will come, when people will love to live with plants and trees into the mini jungles and not the concrete jungles which are murdering the planet earth every day.

Yes, she faced many challenges while trying to live her dreams but being a high spirited human being, she never surrendered to any situation that stopped her.

We have no reason for not agreeing with her, when she says –

“Do what you love to do and fall in love with what you do. Trust me, life will start to love you, if you’d work and prosper in the field that you love the most. No one can stop you to achieve your goals unless you trap yourself within indefinite excuses. Possibilities have no boundaries.”
